The unforgettable Santa Barbara-Geisha bean from the Colombian harvest season is now at Petra. Jhon Samboni, a third-generation farmer, practices high-vision farming with his wife and daughters at the Santa Barbara farm, which he purchased in 2018. Located at 2050 meters in the Buenavista town of Algecira's Huila region, the farm is known for producing coffee with characteristic, diverse, and distinctive flavor profiles.
Harvesting begins in June-July, with beans carefully handpicked only when fully ripe. After being handpicked, these Geisha beans are processed using the honey-natural anaerobic method in special tanks, resulting in unforgettable coffee with notes of mango, bubblegum, and a silky texture. This bean, capable of surpassing competition coffees, is highly recommended for filter brewing. Enjoy!
