HARIO V60
The manual brewing method, identified with the V60 brand, is ideal for those looking for a full-bodied and clean-drinking coffee experience. The coffee bed stole our hearts with its 60-degree conical angle and paper filter. You can also apply the same method when brewing with Kinto.
- Place the glass in which you will brew on the electronic scale, and place the V60 on the glass.
- After folding the paper filter from the location shown on it and placing it inside the V60, wash it with hot water. This process will ensure that the paper sticks, removes odors, and warms up the glass.
- Pour out the water collected in the glass and put the coffee, which you previously ground to the size of a grain of salt, into the paper filter.
- If you do not have a temperature-controlled kettle, you can boil your water and let it sit for 1 minute. During this period, the temperature of the water will drop to 94 degrees.
- Before you start brewing, tare it and start the timer. After pouring 50-60 ml of water for pre-brewing, gently stir the coffee with a spoon to ensure that all the coffee is wetted. Repeat this process 3-4 times.
- At the 45th second, make circular movements and top up the water to 250 ml.
- The average brewing time is 2:30-2:45.
- Taste after brewing. If your coffee contains strong and bitter tastes, you can coarse the grinding setting a little. If it tastes empty and watery, you can thin it out a bit.
Your coffee is ready, enjoy it!
